THE WIZARDS
Along time ago in the medieval times, before the dark age of the lobster there was a young boy. this boy was going to become a great wizard. HE was considered a very talented boy with a bright future. By the age of 8 he was already conducting professional tricks, his most well known of which was to launch cows into orbit. It wasn’t very useful but everybody seemed to enjoy it.
During this time there was another young wizard. However this boy was considered a fool, with no talent for the future. People would criticize him for not being able to even perform simple wizard tricks such as speaking the native lobster language. The boy however, never let them bother him, and he continued to study the magical art.
One year there was a contest held in the local castle to see who was the best wizard in the land. Wizards from all over the country came, some relatively unheard of and others legends, such as the great dweeb the oldest wizard in the land and famous for creating the spell for instant pudding. Both young wizards showed up for the contest. The next to last performer was the famous young wizard. The crowd gasped in awe as he launched two cows into orbit at once. Next up was the boy who was considered without talent. He raised his hands ready to attempt the same spell done before him. Unfortunately he accidentally reversed the spell, and the crowd of peasants, lobsters, and knights went running in all directions as the formerly flying cows came crashing down one nearly landing on the king himself. This however, was the creation of another animal as one of the unfortunate cows had fell so fast he lost his hair, and had become so scared his moo had been reduced to a small little oink. The landing had scrunched him up and flattened his nose. That is how the first pig came about.
The king however didn’t take so kindly to being nearly squashed by a meteor cow and ordered the young wizard removed from the castle. The young wizard went home felling horrible. But this was not the end of him.
It turns out that the winner of the contest had been the well liked young wizard, and that he stopped practicing after his triumph. The unliked wizard however practiced every day until he had perfected his skills.
So, Many years later another contest was called this time to see if anybody could out wizard the young wizard who was now the best known magician in the world. The rejected wizard once again made a appearance. The crowd booed him but he was allowed to perform. "Maybe he will squishith himself this time!" the famous Magician boasted. But when the time came the crowd was amazed to see the now old rejected wizard outdo the famous one because he had practiced all these years, and the other had not. So the wizard who had been told he was useless all his life lived out the rest of it as the best wizard in the world.
